The idea is that once a week you set aside time to do something just for your creative self, and just for fun, something that will get your creative juices flowing. It can be cultural fun, or lighthearted play. Done on a whim or planned in advance. Adventurous or quietly relaxing. But, Cameron advises, it should be done on your own.
Going to Edinburgh on a whim was an artist date for me. Writing in the sand with a stick and watching the tide wash it away is another favourite. Buying some new pens and sketching or doodling, walking around a junk store or a different neighbourhood....It's up to you to decide what will refresh and interest you.
Give it a try this week?
