It looked better for it and I felt better for it.
Might even do some more tomorrow!
Thanks Andy.
PS this replaces a long-winded post which I realized could be put more simply -
My blog brings me joy
You bring me joy
Thank you all so much!
My friend Andy (who confesses to gardening in his wetsuit on his way back from canoeing!) has inspired me to get off the couch where I have been sitting for two whole days now, and get out into the soggy muddy garden and do something, anything, as long as it involves moving.... I cut back the herbs and enjoyed the scents of curry plant, lavender, dill (still growing) and mint. I trimmed some edges and ran the hoe over the soil. It looked better for it and I felt better for it. Might even do some more tomorrow! Thanks Andy. You did well to avoid the rain as I was just reading that the Rest and Be Thankful has been clobbered again. I got out for a while yesterday but I dread to think how many inches we've had today. Gardening may have to be postponed oh.. at least until next year!

You're welcome. I loved Lisbon (but sadly don't speak the language!)

Wild, wet, windy and oddly warm. No sun today :-( Enjoy your walk Lucille!

The light melancholic mood that happens to visit me at the end of the year was pleasantly mingled this week with a breeze of joy. All due to your review of the year in images and a few - as always- well chosen words. Thank you for this week and this year.

Cath what a kind thing to say (and poetic 'a breeze of joy' what a lovely image). Your comments warm my heart.
