Have you noticed that raindrops show up light on the dark and dark on the light? And that, surprisingly given that the light comes from above, they are light on the bottom and dark on the top? (Refraction.)

Our bedroom window looks onto the forest, and I have a desk here. It's where I like to sit and think, and write with pen on paper. All the time watching - the weather, siskins and crows. And the odd heron that flies by.
