Last night as I went upstairs I heard an owl - really close! I wonder if it has taken up residence in the owl box I got for Christmas. Went to bed with a big smile on my face. I love owls.
Liz recommended A Table For Friends by Skye McAlpine, so I looked it up and it got me thinking of happy times to come and of how much I love having family and friends around the table -eating, drinking, chatting and laughing, lingering over coffee, talking till late .... Laura is going to buy me the book for Mother#s Day. I will look for some new ideas.
Something about the pictures in the book sent me upstairs to look out this bright yellow tablecloth, and I added alarge dish with an extravagance of candles.
Home is where it's at at the moment, so let's make it fun whatever way we can.
I really enjoyed this article by Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett. - We've been hibernating with our sorrow, but nature won't let us grieve forever. What do you think?
Sunshine all day! Two hours in the garden and 15 minutes in the hammock. I've never used the hammock on the 1st of March before.
This time last year I was on my way to Venice. Little did we know....I've spent the evening browsing my photos. (See March 2020 in the sidebar.)
Inspried by Susan's comment I made a quick little decoration for the front door.
Full of hope today!
