We loved this performance by Zoe Hunter.
There was so much talent, originality and creativity at Wigtown. It was hugely heartening!

This little clip, filmed in the bookshop we watched it in, gives you a glimpse of the magic she created. I loved how she could go in and out of character and not lose that magic. It was clever and fun, and I would recommend The Untold Bookshop if you come across them.

.More tomorrow as I am weak from coughing and going back to bed now..

My friend and I are in that photograph on Susan Tomes' blog. If she is as good a writer as she is a speaker and pianist then her book will be excellent. I was very happy to buy my musical friend who is a pianist, a signed copy for her birthday.

I am sorry thaat link was not working - I think it is ok now. I don't think it was that trip to Antarctica which gave me this cough and cold! Who knoows. I am as weak as a kitten but not half as cute. Two days in bed so far

My little 'rough crossing' on the Clyde yesterday pales completely into insignificance beside this!

Inside thie replica of a hut in the Antarctic, we sat on a bunk wearing headphones listening to the wind howl and watching archival film of the whalers and exploresrs in Antarctica. Story Machine who have produced this nnovative experience tour the country, and have done different books, are worth looking out for. It was very good!
