Yes, we're busy, but what's the point of a mid winter break if we don't notice the solstice (it's today), the phase of the moon (it's a thin thin sliver, a waning crescent just 7% of full), and the stars - when did you last go out and look up, or wrap the children in blankets and take them out on a night when the Milky Way is brilliant in the sky? Or get up early to see the sunrise? (I really should try this one..)
