Simply beautiful (and a bit of first aid..)

I have not yet been to the Garden Museum in London.

They are currently showing the work of one of my favourite garden designers. If you click on Green Fuse: The Work of Dan Pearson on their home page and take a look at the short video I hope you will be as entranced as I was by the beautiful camera work. The camera doesn't move, but the plants do.

For something sadder, and not so beautiful, look at this site's Coronation Wood page (top right) to see our efforts at first aid for trees!

A couple of weeks ago I saw a piece of bark, lying on the grass under the willow I adopted earlier this year, which had been forcefully removed. I experienced hurt.
Today , seeing how you dressed the rowan I was moved.

It is a living thing, a tree, isn't it. One of the reasons we love to garden I think - we love to care for living things.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The video was wonderful. I too have been a fan on Dan Pearson since I first saw his work on the TV at Home farm. I didn't know anything about the Garden Museum in London. I'm glad your damaged tree was caused by a deer and not humans. I hope the first aid works and it doesn't take a liking to the other trees you have planted.
