Does anyone remember this Charlie Brown cartoon by Schultz? I'll post it when I find it, but picture Charlie Brown standing with his head hanging, and his arms limply by his sides. He is saying to Lucy -

'This is my depressed stance. When you're depressed, it makes a lot of difference how you stand. The worst thing you can do is straighten up and hold your head high because then you'll start to feel better. If you're going to get any joy out of being depressed, you've got to stand like this.'

I saw your feature in the Country Living magazine and spotted the painting you were doing in the garden, which I was intrigued by and thought I must have a look at your website. Funnily enough I used to paint..I loved your paintings they are full of joy and light. I grew up in the Caribbean and am inspired greatly by color...love gardens and I have been trying to read the Artists Way for years..I also used to read all the Charlie Brown cartoons and have seen the one you mentioned...and my friend has given me the latest Coast magazine today so I am going to look for your garden in it and be inspired..Thank you!
