Simply Live....in two worlds..

I aim to live simply. This is why I moved thirteen years ago to a wee village on the shores of Loch Long in Argyll on the rugged and quiet west coast of Scotland. But, as you know, every now and then I love a bit of city buzzy energy....

Last week I was in London (I'm so glad it wasn't this week in the storms!) and this morning I took a short walk in the forest behind my home.

I leave you with some contrasting shots and no comment, other than I do appreciate how very lucky I am to be able to enjoy both!

The loch is looking lovely at this time of year, such a contrast of photographs - the hard of the city and the soft of the countryside you live in - I can't make up my mind which I find most inspiring - each have their merits.

I love that view from the Tate and your line drawing. And of course I love the contrasting views in this post. I am able to enjoy two lives at present and appreciate that luxury too.

I live the simple life too but it is refreshing to have a change occasionally and also make you appreciate more how you live.

Oh dear, it seems you and I were in London at the same time!!! I hadn't let you know I was coming because I wasn't heading up to your area. Agh! But we had special times with family and friends who live in London and we hope to be back in your part of the world in the next year or two. How funny to think of us both so close to each other unknowingly. I hope you are well my friend xx
