I wonder if you know this song?

Halfway down the stair is the stair where I sit
There isn't any other stair quite like it
It's not at the bottom
It's not at the top
But this is the stair where I always stop

The new seat half way down the path reminded me of this and I have a mind to go and sit there every day.

My 'media break' I have decided should include blogging - I hope you will excuse me for a week, or maybe two....

I think that's a Muppet song. Enjoy your time sitting in your chair - a great place for contemplation.

i will miss hearing from you freda....it strikes me that what has been created here is what we, in yoga, call a sangha....a community of like-minded spirits, following the same path...so i might also say that i will miss our sangha....:-)

for me. Now I just might prepare a 'retreat at home' in november.

I am going to be thinking about 'retreats at home'. The idea is so appealing and may even be necessary in a way. We have had such warm sunny days for sitting thinking!

i was thinking that same thought, freda...but i wondered if it would be like dropping by your home while you were away and us all having a party without you!....or rearranging the furniture...:-)
