I wonder who decides to repaint it, and who chooses the colour.

When I saw the slogan in Glasgow's Buchanan Street this summer, I felt an immediate sense of irritation. Perhaps I am just an old fogey (which the Urban Dictionary tells me I am, being over 50) but it seems that everything has to be equated with sex these days. Having said that, if it is effective in encouraging some people to eat healthily, who am I to criticize ...

I'm not sure about the slogan, because it strikes me that they people who are eating and living healthily don't need it. And I'm not sure this will reach the crowd that isn't living and eating healthily -- or, at least, not many of them. If people eat garbage, drink like fish, don't exercise at all and so on,....I don't see this provoking epiphanies and "aha" moments to spark people to change things.

i related to your original title on this one freda...simply smile...:-)
it reminded me that when we are healthy and fit, eating right and getting plenty of sunshine and rest (all the stuff we KNOW we are supposed to do), that we glow...there is no "poduct" we can buy that will substitute for health and wellness to make us feel attractive, whether that is physically, mentally, emotionally, or yes, even sexually. i might be wrong on this, but i believe that most people want to feel they are looking their best when they go out the door..when i was doing a one month yoga techer training retreat, we were all doing hours and hours of yoga every day, and eating only the best organic vegetarian food....we started notcing that everyone was just glowing with good health and that yes, we all looked very attractive. it has nothing to do with physical features..it is the glow of health that is attractive. and to me, that's what this message says. (sorry to be so long-winded!)
