The rain was gentle, it wasn't really cold, and I was getting almost too comfy indoors! I had a short and rather one-sided conversation with this sheep and sympathised with these ones which only seem to have reeds to eat. Everyones' lawns (already full of moss) are coming up with reeds because it's been such a wet year here. ![]() I enjoyed the misty view and the sound of the waves.

isn't it nice to be able to get outdoors when the walls seem to get claustrophobic? and what great scenes to take in! I love the sheep horns. is the red on it's chest some sort of farmer's marking? never saw a red sheep before. lol!

Wonderful that you have such beautiful places to walk outside your doorstep. And engaging (non)conversationalists, too!

It does the same for me and I try to have a walk every day... even if it's only brief it makes such a difference doesn't it? And your scenery still looks great when it's grey!

and sometimes you can just gaze deeply into a sheep's eyes and they will talk to you, loud and clear.....same with the water..and the mist...just being present...:-)

Yes, I’ve been getting into the garden for 5 minutes each day as suggested by gardening writer Laetitia Maklouf in her email newsletter. Strangely the worse the weather, the better you feel for it. And once you’re out 5 minutes can turn into more...

By the time I got togged up I'd definitely want to do more than five minutes - it would hardly seem worth the effort, but I do love how little incremental efforts add up to something worthwhile.
