I did have a lovely day thanks and a fairly easy stroll around the gardens over a couple of hours added up to a surprising lot of steps!

Happy birthday, Freda...all of that in one day? The crazy weather, the flowers, the confetti of them dropping...it reminds me of how our emotions have such a wide range too....and often all in one day...

Didn't realise our birthdays are so close together (mine is 29th), can't help wondering about age now, but won't ask of course.

Mother Nature just didn't know quite what to give you for your birthday so she decided to give a little bit of everything--though I am sure you would have been quite content if she just stopped at sunshine.

Seems you certainly stepped out during your "tea half hour" (an expression my British mother used frequently whenver we did a lot in a little bit of time). Happy day-after-your Birthday. xo

Happy belated birthday wishes Freda - sorry to miss the day we were away in Scotland and no internet. Two days before my daughters birthday too - April is a lovely month for a birthday - I remember one year we would be having picnics in the sunshine and another year snow!
