Thank you Mary! Stiff legs today, but I'm so happy to have made it to the top.

Congratulations Grace! Was it rough? How long did it take you? Are you a seasoned climber? I've only climbed the western slopes of Beinn Eighe and I found that extremely rough in going down.(ashamed to say I came a bit unprepared where climbing shoes are concerned...) ah being young and foolish....

Thank you so much Freda! I went up with a guide who was excellent. He had lots of stories to tell about his experiences on the mountain. He had seen a man climbing with a tumble drier on his back a few days before in aid of charity!

Love your blue breakfast !Are you still having breakfast in the garden ? We have had three days of drizzle and patchy heavier rain so my mood is blue, just a different shade to yours !

If the sun is shining, yes, but it's very changeable now - so I must make the most of it.

To answer Cath's question, I love walking in the countryside, but haven't climbed hills since I was in my late 20s (59 now!). I found the ascent fine, but coming down was tough on the old legs. It took me about 4h 15 each way.
