The rest of the house is still in full fig for Christmas, but in the kitchen I just needed a breathing space....

Daffodils. Think I might copy that and bring those happy faces into the room as a sunny start for the new year.

Much as we love our precious christmas decorations and traditions, it DOES create more breathing space to let them go too..:-)

We have taken our decorations down today and it is nice to see if looking back to normal. Lovely to see the bulbs reminding us of the the new gardening year. Sarah x
