Is this what you are reduced to? I can hear you say.
Well thankfully, before the lockdown, I took dozens of photofraphs.
Here are a few of them.
Venice is still out there....waiting.
You're showing us clothes pegs in the sun? Seaweed floating in on the tide? Peeling paint on the shutters? Is this what you are reduced to? I can hear you say. Well thankfully, before the lockdown, I took dozens of photofraphs. Here are a few of them. Venice is still out there....waiting.

Those clothes pegs! Isn't it wonderful how the ordinary can become extraordinary when you take time to observe ... x

This post is such a reminder to me how lucky i am..i live in a spacious neighborhood and we are allowed to walk as long as we want to..as often as we want to...no, we do not have Venice-views...but we do have more freedom just now..there is plenty of space between us!

I wonder if we will not take our freedoms so much for granted from now on..Enjoy those walks Julia!

I commented to Julia yesterday that you take pictures of such different, unique things...things most of us probably don't even pay attention to. I love the clothes pin picture!

Hi, Freda. I asked Jenny how you were getting on, hopefully we will see you at home soon. I love your photographs. We are all hanging on here, Johnny and I are fine. Stay safe. Marian

When you get a microscopic view, you're allowed to focus on the almost imperceptible. Well done. Love the clothes pegs. Like a bunch of little Easter bunnies.

Can I dare to say I prefer the first pictures? As beautiful as the others undoubtedly are, these have such a profound feeling to them and show how there is always beauty to find and contemplate. That is a very special gift that you provide us. When I first saw the clothes pegs in the sun, it reminded me of an exquisite interpretation of those rainbows kids are drawing... daily life and hope!

All my leather gloves were bought in Venice many decades ago. Still in service. I think of you when I wear them now!
