..bringing the outdoors in and experimenting with the stagelight edit on my camera kept me away from the news today!

My self-imposed news blackout is about 99.8% successful I would say, and when I get the urge to listen to the news I try to find something creative to do instead. It's been fairly challenging...but nice.

I hadn't realised what an addiction it was for me!, Freda - going into the BBC website whenever I have a tea-break.
I've decided to decide, to view one instagram site of a sewist or gardener, in place of the above.
I've linked Dan Pearson's site, which I thought you and your blog-friends might like.

Thanks for the link , I'm going to enjoy reading the archives. Thanks too for your enquiry about my health. It is almost 3months post transplant and the doctors are pleased with progress so far . I start my childhood re-vaccination program next week as well as gradually reducing immunosuppressant meds. Still enjoying life one day at a time ! x

Well your news blackout has been to our benefit as that is a stunning photo and hoping there were will be many more creative, news replacement activities. Love the contrast between the pine branches and the shiny yellow vase.

That looks simply beautiful in its simplicity. My news blackout has been about 98% unsuccessful! During lockdown I managed to ignore the news completely. Depending on the result of a certain election I may need to do it again properly for my own sanity. It may require locking away my iPad and phone though!
