Narcissus pseudonarcissus is the dainty native daffodil. I plan to plant some in the autumn.
While I was away my dear laptop seems to have fixed itself!! (So far so good...)
A short trip to see the wild daffodils in beautiful Farndale in North Yorkshire. Narcissus pseudonarcissus is the dainty native daffodil. I plan to plant some in the autumn. While I was away my dear laptop seems to have fixed itself!! (So far so good...)

look at that field of daffodils! one of the first signs of spring & probably my favorite flower. that's up for debate, though... just about every flower i see i claim to be my favorite. that drives my friend wild... she insists i have to have just 1 favorite, but i can't limit myself. i like the name of the cafe - very clever & memorable.

I know what you mean about favourites! The little café was nice. Homely and family and dog friendly..

Had to laugh about your computer fixing itself. They do that sometimes. My husband always wants me to call someone if I can’t fix his computer and I always blame it on the internet and insist we give it awhile… maybe overnite sometimes. And I swear it fixes itself. It just wants a coffee break. (How in the world I became our IT person I will never know).

IT remains an enigma to me. I do love it when it works. Hope you found some gorgeous flowers.

I love daffodils ! Just as well really......living in rural west Wales I am surrounded by them along banks and hedgelines every spring. Plus sheep and lambs . I treasure every minute of it.

That does look so pretty especially with a brilliant blue sky as a backdrop. I have Narcissus pseudonarcissus in the garden and it is very reliable and obligingly selfseeds some years though sad to say I have nothing like that beautiful field.

Lovely to have even a few clumps I would think. Blue sky makes everything better. Let’s hope we get plenty more.

Blue sky, sunshine, daffodils and tulips. A completely winning combination. And a promise of things to come. I am so happy to have spring finally sprung! Thanks for sharing !
