At last the black pots are filling out even if the sweet peas are a bit slow (but deliciously scented)

Petunia Apple Blossom, lime nicotiana, white ammi majus, lobelia and bacopa and sadly I cannot remember the name of the sweet pea which is a pity as I would like to grow it again!

Tender mina lobata is making a striking contrast with geranium Rozanne in the big nut brown pot.

It is
warm and humid here with rain forecast for the whole day which makes me feel a bit lethargic. Good for the garden if not for me!

I had a feeling it was easy to keep sweet pea seeds until next year, so I looked this up. ( You need to allow the plant to form and grow pods first)

Bring the seedpods indoors and remove the seeds from the pods. Line a flat surface, such as a countertop or cookie sheet, with newspaper and let the seeds dry for about three days. Once dry, put them in a freezer bag or Mason jar with a tight-fitting lid to keep them dry. Store them in a cool place until planting time.

Definitely worth a try! Thank you Linda. I can't really think why I have not tried it before as I do collect seed from some other plants.

I do like your painted bamboo supports, as a backdrop to your planting.

Re the humidity. I've invested in a (Trotec TTK72E) portable dehumidifier, which I just use for say, half an hour, when it's very humid and I feel lethargic.
It is making a big difference to my comfort & energy levels.
It might be worth considering, if it's often humid in your area, Freda.
