Simply..getting ready....

A new watering can, gardening clogs and gardening gloves, and some pretties to grow on for the greenhouse in summer. I'm all set to go! The continuing sunny weather has energised me.

A splendid hellebore, a small sarcococca which is scenting the greenhouse beautifully, and a witch hazel will fill the gaps in my future winter gardens.

Oh what a pretty witch hazel! I wish I had bought one of those instead of the Edgworthia that is completely failing to thrive in my garden! If it doesn’t come back with some vigour this year I shall replace it with a Hamamelis.

Gorgeous selection , especially the happy clogs ! I love the perfume of sarcococca. It is snowing here this morning but I plan to sow the Sweet Pea seeds that soaked overnight . Gardeners are eternal optimists!
