(in a good way!)..for lilies.

Big shop, stacked another delivery of wood, defrosted freezer, cooked soup for said freezer, cooked dinner, and am still waiting for the special delivery for the drive...

Post-trip clearing up and a long list of to-do's. Since our weather is only just now starting to fall out of the 26c to 32c range, I'm just getting around to shifting clothes in the wardrobe--though it is still in the low 20s during the day. It also seems like I saved most of my medical stuff for the last quarter, too, so I've been making appointments: eye exam, mammogram, bone scan and semi-annual primary doc visit. Sheesh. Just a tad mad.

You sound like you are well on your way to preparing for a winter retreat, if the need arises, Freda...
I’m mad about winter squash these days. Finding fresh flowers for sale less than an hour’s drive away would not be possible..but i will settle for hubbard squash!..do you call them squashes? Or pumpkins?

A Winter Retreat....hmmm. Squashes and pumpkins though I seldom cook them. Scott has just chosen a big one to make a lantern!

Re-thinking and re-organising my study. For years a very big table dominated my room. When we renovated I wasn't ready to let it go. Now I am. It is gone now (yes I have thanked it..) hopefully someone else has many happy hours working at it. And I so much enjoy the space.
Going a little mad for 'white'.
