It's persicaria 'Firetail' and has to be watched or it will crochet itself all through the garden!

I am content with my lake cottage summer life in a forest, but when i see garden photos such as these, i yearn to be gardening again! There is nothing more satisfying, is there, than to plant a tiny seed and out of that, year after year, comes splendor?
