Simply..live it for real....

I've loved reading about all your wonderful real experiences. Thank you for sharing! Don't miss Simply Happy Mom's beautiful 'Simple Life Lessons From a Three Year Old' Here, and here.

There are a few real experiences I enjoy but  don't have to travel for. Real coffee, vanilla pods instead of vanilla 'flavouring', real flowers instead of artificial (no matter how clever there is always that flicker of disappointment when you realise they are not real),  Natural fibers, a sun tan from the sun, real food, face to face meetings with family and friends when we can manage it.

Experiencing things before I take the photograph!

Life is short.

Lets live it for real!

Real progress on the Kondo front. Got through the papers!! Never again will I have to go through heaps of them making decisions about each and every one which I could have made years ago and saved myself some trouble. I will think more carefully now about which I store.

How will I celebrate?

i'll take a few days off Kondoing!

How will you celebrate?

Did you notice the blue gate? I sowed marigolds today to grow in front of it..

you painted the gate! that was the first thing i noticed, freda...it looks fabulous...congratulations on your kondoing...you deserve a break...but your future YOU will be thankinng you for all your good work...love the "veiw from 3"...they are delightful...reminds me of something our son said at age 3...we had just moved to our town, and were visiting a local museum....there was a stone bench in the garden....and he exclaimed: " and they even have a statue of a chair!"
and something that is better REAL...a swim in a lake versus in a pool....

Three year olds are just wonderful, as is a swim in a lake. I did this on Midsummer morning in central Sweden once - it's a tradition - a feezing cold one! But it certainly felt real..

Life is short. So true. So - as for finishing Kondoing paper there's a long way to go still - I will celebrate this day's blessings instead, just by being grateful for them.

There is always the fact of just being alive to celebrate isn't there!

Congratulations for making it through the papers. I find, for me, it helps to clear my desk at the end of the week. What I thought important on Monday, might not be so important on Saturday. But each of us has to find what works best for us. I don't consider simplifying a challenge to see who can live with the least amount of stuff. It has to be the right amount for me, whatever it is, clothes, books, photos. Who wants to feel unnecessarily deprived going through life? I say 'unnecessarily' because I'm well aware there are millions of people who truly are deprived.

I'm beginning to be able to recognise that 'click point' which as you say is different for everyone. I do feel guilty sometimes that my problem is having too much, when so many have too little...
