The first snow, the first Christmas card and the first present all arrived on the same day recently. The new laptop just got set up this morning...give me a day or two to get the hang of it, but it's so nice to be back here!
I hope you are all well.

Wow! What a view! Those dark deep earthy colours in the foreground, and the crystalline white mountains in the distance.

So to get right into the spirit listen to Nigel Slater’s Christmas Chronicle on audible. It’s absolutely marvellous. Once you’ve downloaded it you can listen every year. Absolute bliss.

Good to have you back. Know you are happy to be 'reconnected' instead of just relying on your phone. Love seeing the snow on the mountain tops.

I can't quite manage the website o my phone - I need the bigger screen. It's lovely to be back! Feels like ages.

So happy you are back. Am grateful for you. You make life sweeter. Tears from no where came up as I said that.

So happy to see you back. It maybe felt disconcerting to not be online? This time last year I found myself without internet access for a few weeks (someone had gone through a cable) and I felt astonishingly anxious about not being connected. Hoping all else is ticking along well. The picture is lovely.

Thank you Gwendoline. After that first reaction it felt strangely peaceful...but I am very glad to be connected again.

I am glad you are back and hope that you want to continue to be "here". I am also grateful for you. You are one of two blogs that I go to for solace. I don't check everyday and may go a couple weeks in between but I return faithfully to this place. Thank you!

Thank you Lisa for reading.. I felt a little at sea without writing my blog posts each day. I find it keeps me feeling grounded and centred - some mixed metaphors there! But I love the sharing that goes on in this space, with generous like-minded people.
