There's something exquisitely magical about the tulips in the first photo. I think they are talking to you across the table...
And it took a few double takes and a moment or two for my brain to sort out all the reflections and images in the picture on the wall. It has become a whole new quirky work of art!
Tulips by candlelight - they were and still are so lovely. It's so nice to share them here.
I love those pale pink tulips and especially so when they meander around.
Tulips do their own thing, don't they!
When life serves up lemons: buy tulips!! I am sorry, Freda...i gather your trip to venice is off...but sometimes things work out for the best...i would not be traveling at this time...and i’m glad you are reconsidering!
Such beautiful photos, as always Freda. So sorry the Venice situation isn’t looking good at the moment, fingers crossed that it changes quickly or that if you rearrange it ends up that you are glad you did!
Thanks Penny. Glad you enjoyed the tulips too.
I have been very mindful of your situation. I have a son criss crossing the globe in the Far and Middle East at present and just pray he isn’t caught up in a quarantined area.
So worrying! Hoping your son will be okay Lucille.
I can never see the words Que Sera Sera (Spanish) without hearing the voice of Doris Day in my head, singing that song. Not sure what else to say about the situation. You are in my thoughts. x
Adopting the lightheartedness of the song might be a good strategy right now!
Have been thinking of you since first saw news of situation in Venice. At a loss for words really. Sometimes life presents us with choices that seem to be between a rock and a hard place. Be brave , keep smiling and know that you are surrounded by love and hugs . xx
Thank you so much MaryB.
