I fell asleep here this afternoon...

The umbrella, given to me in April, has not yet been used in rain,

but has been well used as a sunshade..

I do love those 'Country Living' moments!

Fabulous pictures and I love that umbrella! It must have been blissful there this afternoon Freda. Those pictures make me feel cheerful just looking at them - do you mind if I save one to use as my desktop picture?
Very sunny and hot here too but I've been dealing with bees, bees and more bees...!

That would be the way I would use the umbrella, too. I am no sun-worshiper/sun-bather. A just warm enough day with a nice breeze--that is my idea of a good summer day. Unfortunately where I live, summer days are more often very hot and humid. So not my favorite time of the year.

'Hot' here is 19/20 ish - perfect for me and we do often have a nice breeze too.

Idyllic! We've been having crazy weather here on the Continent. Downpours, flooding, hailstorms, fog .... but beautiful today here in the Paris region. Hope to come to Scotland in July and enjoy some of that lovely weather you've been having.

The west coast has had fantastic weather this last few days. Could have done with that umbrella today, took a touch of sunburn working up on the bank!
