We have snow too - just off to take some pictures.
Look forward to seeing them Elaine. Stay warm!
Smile - tell it to keep moving east/south…!! At the moment, I am at 1500m above sea level on an Alpine mountain and there is practically none (really: an inch on the northern slope, none in the 6° sunshine...).
I wonder why it gives us that lovely feeling when it starts?!
I don't know if it is listening to me! Will you blog about your Alpine stay?
Probably not this time - there's plenty in my archives from when it's visually more appealing ;) Lovely, though!
So far, the snow hasn't arrived… tomorrow?! lol
i think we get that feeling because, if we are lucky, we still connect with our child-like joy in the magic of it all!!
snowing here in west virginia, for awhile this morning too...
Magic is the word! It is so transforming....
Seeing that first picture, as in you banner, just one line entering my mind: 'Let evening come', from a beautiful poem by Jane Kenyon.
A lovely poem (I just looked it up - thank you.) It was snowing quite hard, and windy, and I had a plastic bag over the camera and the tripod and an umbrella in the other hand..I was quite surprised the photographs were OK!
Oh wow! Quite the feat with the camera, bag and umbrella. A balancing act like the cyclist on the high wire a few days ago!
Oh how lovely, it only reached the hills in the distance here! Sarah x
Alison you made me laugh!
There's still time Sarah!
