Have been thinking of you all day since I heard the news. Truly shocking. Hope you treasure the joyful ,peaceful memories of New Zealand that you have been sharing with us.
I have been unable to comment on your posts as we have had major BT problems ! Have missed you and just hope our tech experts have finally sorted the problem.

We are stunned. The streets are quiet. There is a long black cloud over New Zealand. My home. The irony of a new immigrant massacring other immigrants, in battered Christchurch, does not escape us.
How did it come to this?

Dear Maria our hearts go out to you and I wish there were words to comfort or explain. Good people everywhere are all in shock that such a thing should happen in your country which has a world wide reputation for friendliness and tolerance. Take care of each other. I know it is a cliche but our thoughts are with you..
