3 am

Watching the lunar eclipse.

Thick mist on the loch to our backs but the sky is clear over the forest.

Profound silence and not a breath of wind. It is not cold, and we watch until the sliver of moon goes down behind the trees....

I wonder if some of you are watching too.

'Fraid not - I was in the land of nod - it was a huge moon though so clear and close -I wish I had been able to stay awake to see the Blood Moon.

We woke up at 3.30 for a nocturnal visit! The full eclipse had passed but it was still red.totally amazing!

I too was in the land of nod. The moon did look huge when we walked the dog at sunset. Lovely to see your image. Sarah x

It was a bit cloudy here, so it was hard to see what was happening unfortunately.
