Today is the fourth anniversary of my blog and I'm celebrating with some chocolate. The trouble with chocolate is that it sometimes lifts me up, and it sometimes drags me down,

but I never know what effect it will have, until after I have eaten it!

From Tiger.

£1.

I drank a Scottish toast to your health tonight 'Slainte Mhath'.

(It's pronounced Slanj-uh va.)

To say thank you for reading and for your thoughtful and interesting comments.

I enjoyed the wine, but I didn't, alas, have any real chocolate....

Congratulations on your blog birthday. Visiting you always makes me smile. I was drooling over your bar of chocolate, what a shame it was a notebook! Sarah x

Congratulations!
I have discovered that chocolate now makes me feel sick :o
However, for a while now, I have realised that I actually prefer caramel to chocolate (the attraction of Mars bars?!), in the same way that after years of drinking coffee because all around me do, I don't actually like it (not even the smell) and only drink cappuccinos because I like milk… Live and learn!!!

Congratulations - four years is a long time especially when you post every day. Thank you for making your posts so varied and interesting and, in this case, humorous - long may you continue. Cheers!

That notebook would just sit there teasing me until I had to go and find the real stuff.
Happy Anniversary!

Congratulations on your Blog Birthday. I have enjoyed reading it from the very beginning. Please keep it going. It's both entertaining and uplifting. As for chocolate - stick to wine - chocolate makes your clothes shrink!!!!

How easy I can be fooled. You caught me thinking, did Freda really put chocolate on her pristine artwork.. albeit wondering about the white 'filling' a bit.
Congratulations on the fourth bloganniversary. Finding it in the morning gives me so much joy.

I'm late but not too late I hope to congratulate you on your blog birthday. It is always just right - content, length, presentation, and tone. And like Cath I was troubled by the placing of chocolate on artwork but fooled all the same!
Oddly enough I have a tin of those chocolates left over from Christmas and can manage to eat just one a day. They are too sweet for my taste but look so pretty in bowls.

Thank you Lucille! Is there some secret to moderate chocolate eating do you think? Or is it in the genes? Or perhaps its just a 'character flaw' tee hee. Love the magnolia....
