look at those colors! so bright & vibrant!
the sun is shining, but there's a cool breeze. I had shorts on, but opted to go back to jeans. everyone else has shorts on, but jeans will keep me comfortable & that's my goal.
We have just been through a heat wave. It was almost 37° here on Wednesday. Not a nice experience in a big city environment.
Night scented stock brings back memories of my childhood in Glasgow. I must get some seeds.
Your bouquet is magnificent!
Beautiful - such a lovely way to have the garden inside if you cannot get outside - it is raining here at the moment.
As always, your artistry is on display using the available medium. Gorgeous arrangement.
We have Devon's best. Interminable drizzle. An afternoon in the greenhouse beckons or I shall go stark staring mad.
Nice and a cool 20C after a long heatwave. Rain expected for the day after tomorrow and the rest of the week. Love your indoor garden.
That's good news about th hotel, Freda! And what a gorgeous bunch of flowers from the garden. Last weekend in the heat I spent time watching a pair of blackbirds feeding a very fat chick that had escaped th nest but couldn't quite get the hang of flying and was pretty useless at judging which vegetation would provide a safe perch. No sign of them anywhere now and in th cooler weather this weekend managed to get back to some art on the attic.
I think we have arrived at a happy medium today after the great heat. Much better walking and gardening weather. It served to remind me that although I may long for a blast of real heat and think of decamping to the Meditteranean, it is debilitating in the extreme.
I hope your newly reopened hotel succeeds. It is a rare thing to have somewhere nice for visitors within walking distance.
