I am an artist trying to live more simply.

I've always loved simplicity, which can sometimes be very sophisticated: Japanese gardens, Scandinavian design, minimalist music - but which can also be very ordinary: a flower, birdsong, a walk on the shore, a cuppa....

I started my blog on 18 March 2010 with the subject of food under the heading 'Simply Eat'.

We all have to eat, but what, and how, and where and when - it's an ethical minefield out there - how am I to negotiate it and stay sane and healthy?

Simply Eat led on to Simply Grow, Simply Laugh, Simply Live and more....
