A Simpler Life....

Around ten of us planted about 1500 snowdrops this morning in Coronation Wood. (see yesterday's post.) It was freezing !

I've been re-reading my posts under the category Live Simply.

Hankering after nature and a more simple life, and wanting to paint full time, I came to live in a wooden house in a small village on a single track road on the shores of Loch Long in the Cowal region of Argyll, in Scotland, described here. I'm not sure I was really very clear what the plan was, except that it had something to do with the real and the authentic....and headspace..

Hi mum, Have you thought of producing postcards? Your pictures are fabulous, and so much more artistic and representative of Argyll than anything else I've seen.

Wow, what a wonderful community project! And the joy it will bring you and many others and animals. Thank you for mentioning the flowers on my table decor, I didn't realise they were baby's breath and didn't know their proper name. I had wondered what they were but didn't see a sign when I picked them at the flower market. Happy new week to you!

I think I shall dig out some photos of 'baby's breath' - even the name is lovely, isn' it.
