You stated in your blog of April 11 that you started your journey from Venice on April 8. On April 9 you mentioned you were self isolating in a flat in York for the “next two weeks”. On 15 April you say you are “home again”. This means that you travelled from York to your village a maximum of 7 days after arriving in UK. You are aware that the government advises a period of 14 days self isolation if returning from abroad but you appear to have ignored this potentially putting others at risk

Jo, I suggest that you check that your information is up to date and from a reliable source. I researched NHS111 ,www.2.gov.scotland, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office - many of their items are prefaced with 'Withdrawn', I Googled Returning from Italy self isolation, and was given a leaflet on board the plane from Rome from the British Government. All recommended 7 days self isolation if you have smptoms. I have no symptoms.

The landscape and the view unchanged while changing every moment and the quiet and the solitude providing space to come to terms with so much change. Take care Freda.

Freda! We are all so relieved to know you are back home, and safe..and the amazing thing is that you have been able to avoid this covid! I also commend both you and jo, also, for expressing sincere concerns, coming from a place of concern for all..what i am learning more and more each day..from all of this, from all of the fear, and from all of the ideas and opinions, is that really, none of us can know the truth of it all..(thank you charles eisenstein.) but we can listen to each other...so glad you have created a safe and accepting platform for speaking and for listening! And in the near future, i do hope to hear from you how it felt to be home at last...xoxox
