welcome home! must be so good to see your red fence in person again.
Oh it is so good Cathy!
Yahoo!!! Can't imagine how good it feels for you to look out over your loch. Such an incredible view.
Best view of all Mary.
Hurrah! What a view to come home to!! So pleased you are home safe.
Thank you Gillie
Welcome home, Freda. Walk round the garden, maybe walk down to the loch and relax. Enjoy!
Thank you sheena - I will.
Welcome home, Freda.
So glad you have made it home.
Nice of you to tell me Linda.
Brilliant! Welcome homexx
Thank you so much.
You stated in your blog of April 11 that you started your journey from Venice on April 8. On April 9 you mentioned you were self isolating in a flat in York for the “next two weeks”. On 15 April you say you are “home again”. This means that you travelled from York to your village a maximum of 7 days after arriving in UK. You are aware that the government advises a period of 14 days self isolation if returning from abroad but you appear to have ignored this potentially putting others at risk
Jo, I suggest that you check that your information is up to date and from a reliable source. I researched NHS111 ,www.2.gov.scotland, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office - many of their items are prefaced with 'Withdrawn', I Googled Returning from Italy self isolation, and was given a leaflet on board the plane from Rome from the British Government. All recommended 7 days self isolation if you have smptoms. I have no symptoms.
I travelled from York to home accompanied by one person in a vehicle which is disinfected thoroughly between passengers and allows social distancing to be maintained.
You might also ask yourself, if I was doing the wrong thing would I be publishing it here?
The landscape and the view unchanged while changing every moment and the quiet and the solitude providing space to come to terms with so much change. Take care Freda.
I think I will appreciate the quiet and the solitude like never before Cath.
Freda! We are all so relieved to know you are back home, and safe..and the amazing thing is that you have been able to avoid this covid! I also commend both you and jo, also, for expressing sincere concerns, coming from a place of concern for all..what i am learning more and more each day..from all of this, from all of the fear, and from all of the ideas and opinions, is that really, none of us can know the truth of it all..(thank you charles eisenstein.) but we can listen to each other...so glad you have created a safe and accepting platform for speaking and for listening! And in the near future, i do hope to hear from you how it felt to be home at last...xoxox
I know just how you feel - welcome back!
We, too, have been able/forced to return home from our Breton exile and are appreciating what we have... all the spring flowers in the garden, for example!!
Glad you also made it home! Be well.
