Before this year is out I will..... How would you finish this sentence? (Keep it simple. There are only three days left! I am going to fill in the new address book which has been sitting around for about a year....)  The Christmas tree sparkled in the sunshine today!

make apricot scones 1 more time. no wait...I'm making them monday, which is next year. back to the drawing board. stay tuned...surely I can think of something.

got it! I'm going to fill out my 2018 calendar with birthdays & work schedule. That's usually a new year's day project, but since the kids couldn't come for Christmas, but are coming for new year's...I'll switch things around.

stitch the hem on a pair of trousers I made two years ago and finish that scarf which has been on the knitting needles for longer than I care to confess!
