Still enjoying keeping it simple

Did anyone else hear the first episode today of a programme called Living With The News (BBC Sounds Radio 4 at 13.45 every day this week).

Fascinating on a subject which I think about a lot. The Attention Economy - I knew it existed but didn't know it had a name...

Well, had to laugh out loud when my husband interrupted me and that last message got sent in error. Obviously I don’t have enough attention factors😂. As much as I love Instagram and Facebook, I am aware that they are causing issues for my attention span with regard to other subjects. I seem to want quick short blurbs on any subject.
I love your black and white and red simple pictures with the bit of green. So calming they are.

Here's a thought that just came to me; is the fact that we all, here, who appreciate Freda's simple approach to things have an understanding that news overwhelm can really unbalance us? Anything too fraught and fractured can mess with our calm. I did hear the programme and will be tuning in for the next.

The decorations are lovely and resonate warmly with me.
