Your own clematis! Now that is a beautiful thing, in more ways than one!

I am as thrilled as if it was really named after me!

I think if this weather pattern persists all summer we will have to come and join you! It is cloudy and there is a freezing wind to keep the temperatures just the wrong side of comfortable for gardening or walking. Your clematis is a stunner.

You would be welcome Lucille though as you will be well aware it may have changed by the time you got here!

Breathtakingly beautiful! I am itching to get out into the garden but the weather is pretty grim here : rain and 13 degrees. 😕

I hope it gets better very soon as it is a good time to be in the garden with everything flourishing...

Freda is looking spectacular! Both clematis (plural?) I planted died - one of natural causes, the other as a result of a neighbour's over enthusiastic scythe action! I don't know if I'll replace them or indulge my long held hankering for wisteria...

I think wisteria can take a long time to establish, so don't delay Lotta!

How lovely to have your own Clematis - we have searched and searched for one named Lucy (my younger daughters name). We saw it once at Haddon Hall in Derbyshire growing up a stone wall but have never seen one to buy. It has turned cold down here today after a very warm day yesterday.
