I read this article the other day about potential tsunami risk on the French Riviera within the next 30 years : https://www.thelocal.fr/20220623/french-riviera-unesco-tsunami-warning-for-marseille-and-cannes/

Amazing architecture and such a contrast between the older delicate ornamentation and the more modern linear style. As for the station photos....well , now I am hungry again !

The holiday was very much about food as well as architecture!

Like Grace, I also recently read an article in The Guardian (June 23) about the growing tsunami risk in the Mediterranean. I've seen those tsunami evacuation signs all up and down the coast of California, around Hawaii and in Japan (in my neck of the woods,we have hurricane evacuation signs), but never really thought of the Med as a potential tsunami risk area, but it is understandable. On a happier note, loving the architecture photos. I usually return from trips with any number of architectural photos from whole buildings to individual gargoyles. Always a treat (no calories). :)

I should be more grateful for our temperate climate. I took of extremes, but it is all relative.

Thank you for the link. I am grateful we really have earthquakes or hurricanes.
