It's not often I see thIe beauty of the dawn, but awake at 5 I noticed the first rays of the sun lighting up the yellow gate and I just had to go out and try and get a photograph.

Unfortunately I also got a big insect bite on my leg. :-(

But I did get the best part of the day.,,

They’re gorgeous photos Freda. Your shadow in the second one makes it’s very ethereal. Hope the bite is healing.

Oh, radiant dawn! Looks so beautiful only seems a shame to have to pay for the pleasure with a sore leg.
