..the new season (though it was snowing as I wrote this yesterday) with a new pillowcase for the bedroom from the lovely Bluebell Gray range. See also this post.

Today I had my first outside cuppa this year - cold air but the sun was HOT on my face.

Your bedroom looks lovely. I woke up to Robin's birdsong this morning for the first time this year and I saw my first buttercups today on my afternoon walk. That is encouraging news about the advances in macular degeneration treatments. I don't comment very often but love your blog. Always inspiring and interesting. Thank you for taking the time to do it!

Beautiful spring bedroom! Just waiting for the weather to follow suit : it's freezing in Paris. That news brought a big smile to my face when I heard it on the news just now. ☺

Such a pretty bedroom and it would make you feel like spring all year round and warm sun on our faces was bliss. I thought of you when I heard the news yesterday and lovely to have hope for people with macular degeneration.

Truly riveting news. If it hadn't already been a sunny day, I am sure it would have felt like it to you anyway. Fingers crossed that further studies are successful and that it becomes a treatment option sooner rather than later. The gorgeous pillowcase is a perfect reflection on the day's mood.

It must make your heart lift every time you go into the bedroom Freda! I like how the lamplight forms a perfect triangle over the bed. Bluebells are starting to come up in the garden now...
And that's excellent eye news!

So much excitement in this post, freda! Such encouraging news about AMD!! And i coudn’t help thinking that i had seen a similar pillow at some time recently..of course! On your blog! And then...the new one also..and i think you probably know that picking yellow for your color scheme is a sure sign of a postive viewpoint on life! Your bedroom is a wonderful one to wake up to! (Ignore my grammar...i get to be lazy, now that i am officially old!)

To think I once thought I didn't like yellow! Now everything is coming up yellow - I'm glad that means something good. Officially old? Young at heart Julia.

Do write to the Prof. at Moorfields, Freda, to ask to be considered for the study, if you wish to be. x S.

Thank you Susan. I have the other kind (dry) AMD and understand they only treat very advanced cases, but I am hopeful further advances will be made...and I too will benefit.
