Simply..cheap and very cheerful....

The shops are full of vibrant colours and I could not resist the plate, mug and carrier bag, I just had to bring some of that vitality home with me today.

If yesterday's photograph represents the peace and quiet of home, this one represents the little jolt of city buzz which I need every now and then. I am so lucky to be able to have a bit of both.

I'm full of admiration for you, Freda, in many ways, one of which is that you make the considerable effort to take several buses and ferries to visit cultural sites, meet friends, and peruse shops in your nearest cities.
I'm certain that you commit to enjoying the experience of the journey.
Did you find these in your local town, and is that a long journey?

I am so glad I went yesterday and not today. Snowy day is best spent at home.
