Simply..curtains of rain....

Not today thankfully - it has been sunny and very cold. This is the title of one of my favourite paintings by another artist in the village - painter Jackie Stevenson. I am sure you will enjoy her watercolours of the local landscape. See here.

She is particularly good at capturing the ever changing weather, and you may recognise some of the scenery!

Wonderful works of art. I remember seeing a couple of her paintings at the RSW Exhibition in 2019. I see on her page that they both sold. Not surprisingly. Love Clearing Mist. She does capture the changing moods of nature.

Thanks for the link. You have talented neighbours. May I ask , did you know there was a community of artists when you moved to Ardentinny and was it a factor in your decision to live there ?

No, I didn’t know this. But I became a founding member of Cowal Open Studios when I realised it. That was in 2010 and it is still going strong.
