Do you love to change things around with the seasons? I took down the snow painting and lifted the thick winter rug, put down the summer rug and put up a garden painting (called The Yellow Shouts To The Pink).... and woke up to snow on the hills!

It's amazing how just a few changes can transform a room. We had glorious weather last weekend, then last night a hailstorm and strong winds.

I would like to be someone who changes the decor with the season, but I am probably a little too lazy. Love yours.

Both your Winter and Spring interior decor, pick out colours in the landscape. Both beautiful.

To that extent, I am in harmony with the seasons I think.

Each transition accomplishes the mood change. So pretty. I don’t do any changes but is definitely something to think about.

I change small scale items , vases ,ornaments , throws and so forth with the changing seasons. Your room looks delightful in both arrangements. We had stormy weather all weekend but thankfully no snow.

I love making those kind of changes through weather is so changeable, I hardly know what season it is!

I change one surface - the top of the old toy cupboard. At the moment it has Easter eggs and a flowered patchwork runner I made. And the quilts on the bed get rotated. My big seasonal change is putting away heavy jumpers and wool coats (5 of them!) in mothproof bags and getting out t-shirts. I've stalled half way through the process when it got cold again!

That conjures up a lovely image, Claire. Next week is supposed to be T-shirt weather - we’ll see.
