 at the supermarket today..

A set of storage drawers for the studio for £23. I never can resist a rainbow.

And a  GIANT pineapple.

I did enjoy a tour of a Swiss town's lights by Swissrose and a tour of the advent windows in Saltaire by Viv.

About to finish the address book :-)

Bravo on completing the address book. And thanks for the links.

Your supermarket buys certainly cross the spectrum - but I can see how they would be hard to resist. Fresh pineapple - yum. Reminds me of visits to Hawaii. Warm memories needed as we are going through a bitter cold spell. Highs this week are predicted to be -3C with lows around -12C. And that is before you factor in wind chills. Brrr.

You must be glad you can stay home and stay warm! Wild winds and rain here...

Hi Freda - thank you for the link through to Swissrose - what beautiful lights in her town - puts my own town (not Saltaire) to shame. I am also going to follow her blog now I have discovered her. I have often seen her comments but there is no link through from her comment so always wondered from which blog she came.
Have a great time filling that rainbow - and eating your pineapple - will you be sketching and painting it first - there is always something captivating about pineapples those wonderful patterns and colours on the outer skin.
Glad you liked a brief wander around Saltaire - hope you had plenty of warm clothes on it was freezing!

I'm glad you found Swissrose - I love reading about different lifestyles in different places - and the way we can link up with them. I photograph more than sketch these days and am loving the iPhone camera.

Thankyou. I wonder why my name doesn't link, as it ought to 😳.

delightful tours of both towns for sure! and what a lot of work to put these beautiful blog posts together for the benefit of all of us. thank you to swissrose and viv!
i did have to chuckle, freda..because i have bought something similar, but smaller...i bought a nesting stack of food storage containers.. the worst part for me is that they are plastic. i feel guilty about that. but they were the best "fit" for my needs. we both seem to be in organization mode.

More preparing to get into organization mode (though the address book was a positive start. I will blog about guilt one day....what a subject!

Finished the address book! Isn't if funny how making a 'public' commitment to doing something makes you do it?

Yay! I find that too sometimes, but then other times it brings out the rebel in me who doesn't like the self-imposed pressure!!

Great rainbow! I have a thing about drawers... I'm currently in decluttering mode here though so hoping to have some empty, or at least much less full drawers soon! And wow, that's a pineapple almost too good to cut into...

I am aware that buying storage before Kondoing is a risky move...

Or not... Now you have a lovely rainbow of drawers you won't want to sully them with anything that doesn't spark joy!

That is going to be fun to fill. Will you be tempted to colour coordinate the contents?

Hmm. Maybe a step too far for me right now as Kondoing the studio is weighing rather heavily...

Rainbows! I love rainbows and would have been hard put to resist...
I admit to a tendency to adapt my clothes pins colourwise to my bits of laundry 😳

We had a gorgeous pineapple yesterday, too!
A rainbow of sweetness to you in 2018, Freda!

This pineapple is destined for a dish called Caribbean Chicken and the rest will be juiced. Thank you for the 'rainbow of sweetness'. What a lovely image. x
