I am finding both music and the talk about music and creativity inspiring. You can hear this pianist on BBC Sounds in In Tune of 12th August, and in a video on YouTube -Vikingur Olafsson Debussy Rameau EPK/Trailer. I would love to know what you think..

The days are flying by and I am feeling quite tired, not having worked this hard for years!

Watched the You Tube link you suggested. He is an amazing pianist and a fascinating young man. I went on to read various bits and pieces of interviews and suchlike and was intrigued to discover that he thinks of musical keys in colour. That set me wondering if your painting is influenced by the music you are listening to ?
You must be tired as this time you are working without Barry to carry the household load. Take care Freda and enjoy the Proms as relaxation.

I have just listened to the prom withh p Vikingur Olafsson. Both stimulating and relaxing at the same time. Absolutely wonderful I will write a post about listening to music while I work. Thank you for your kind comment MaryB.

I am intrigued by the name of Ice and Lemon and the fact that you name your paintings before you begin? Is that so?

It can be before, even long before, or during. or after! I really like titles.
