..on my make it rhrough list is make music.

Time for an update on my Desert Island Disc choices. (See under Simply Listen in sidebar.)
So far I have Beethoven, Mozart, Oscar Peterson and Pablo Casalsand I have been enjoying some of your choices too.
I could not miss out this one which lifts my spirits every time and makes me long for Italy.
Joyous.
Pure escapism.
I suggest full screen and full volume!

It has been a source of solace and joy.
Also, they work us hard and have a high expectation of us, which is invigorating when I am tempted to feel lethargic.

This also gave me another happy memory. A couple of years ago, in a January, I went, for my birthday outing, with a group of friends to see an excellent student production of "MAAN".It was super fun and the tune they used for the dancing scenes was "Night Like This" by Caro Emerald! Our entire row, and pretty much the whole theatre, was bopping in their seats. That was a joyful evening. So thanks again for the reminder.

once again i'm late to the party. the album i've been listening to lately is melody gardot's sunset in blue...especially the song from paris with love. listening to jazz, especially soft, slow jazz, is not something i ever expected.
