..to get fitter!

I went for a paddle at dusk..

Since I took up the Wim Hof method I have come to like the cold!

Are you kidding, Freda??? Are you saying you were swimming in this water???? Or wading in it? And it sounds like you are keeping up with wim hof..i was wondering about that...are you still doing the daily 30 breaths? What would your thoughts be on that now?

Just trousers rolled up. Not even up to my knees Julia - unlike your full immersion in your lake! I do five rounds of Wim Hof berathing most mornings and a cold shower or cold hair wash...feels great!

Laughing out loud Lynne. I may be bonkers but I am fitter than I have been for years! Look forward to a paddle with you this winter.

I think the key phrase here is that you are fitter than you have been in years! This is simply excellent news, Freda; and i’m sure i am not the only one who would love to hear more..congratulations!..this did not happen while you were sleeping..:-)

Will have to start calling you Lady Blue Feet!

I tried doing that in the icy Atlantic coastal waters of Maine and blue feet was the result after just a few minutes. And that was summer time! But if you like it, go for it.

I wasn't in long enough I guess! They stayed pink and tingled nicely for a while and I will definitely do it again. (Can;t believe I am saying this.)
