My head was full of Stephen Hough playing Rachmaninov when we came out of City Halls to this magical sight.

There are times when life is a bit of an emotional roller-coaster aren't there! It's not simple, and it certainly isn't boring.

May we all celebrate the good and wisely negotiate the bad.

Be well, be safe and be happy.

Back in a week or so.

Oh, I heard this on Radio 3, Freda!

How lovely - now I can imagine you there, and feel that I shared the concert with you.

Yes, I find it so important to clutch on to those moments of joy, whole-heartedly, especially in the midst of difficult times.

Haven't been able to get my comments accepted recently but hoping this might be. Freda , I've found that taking life one day at a time , treasuring joy in small things and then simply doing the next thing , has helped me on the rollercoaster of life. x

I will look for this concert on BBC Sounds - no link visible.
Small things that have lifte my heart recently - a blackbird singing at dusk, green shoots emerging where I'd forgotten I'd planted something and watching a very determined sparrow trying to take far too much nesting material into a birdbox and eventually resolving the issue (but not before causing much laughter). Plus our first morning coffee outside.
Not forgetting this website.

Magical indeed. I've been in Edinburgh where the magnolias, the camellias and the cherry trees are all in blossom. Wonderful city.
