Simply..now where was I?

Ah yes, getting dressed. I was reviewing how my life is simpler on a daily basis since I started writing Live Simply Simply Live... From when I open my eyes in the morning, listening to the first sounds and getting washed and dressed..

Isn't life easier in good weather? Cotton underwear, loose chinos and a linen shirt with sandshoes have been my 'uniform' for six or seven weeks now. So easy. So simple. Old comfy ones for gardening, newer crisp ones for going out for meals with friends - all in great colours with perhaps an added string of beads.  I am treating this heatwave as a holiday at home and as we now have a village restaurant within walking distance I am taking full advantage of it.

I've loved having worked out what I like and what suits me and have pretty much stayed with that look since this post.

Fewer decisions.

fewer mistakes.

Have you figured out your style? And thus simplified your wardrobe? And your life?

There are quite a lot of posts to browse under Simply Stylish (clothes are my fun!)

My wardrobe - every season- is built around some same brand (Oska) items. It is the style I feel comfortable in and the items in my opinion do not age.

Since I have changed my wardrobe to capsules of 33 items per season I only have left what makes me feel good. I love the view of the opened closet. It has made a tremendous change choosing each day from clothes that make me happy.

Brilliant idea to find one brand you love and stick with it! And a closet that makes you happy...Simple.

Once I leave work there will be a lot of clothes that I won't be wearing! Sainsbury's profits will do a dive!

Big changes afoot Viv! Could be fun. Clothes are closely linked with your sense of identity I find.

I'm clear about my style, but only a handful of my clothes reflect it. I haven't bought clothes for a few years and I've changed a lot in that time so my wardrobe needs to catch up. I'd like to learn to sew better because I think it would be fun to make myself some clothes that fit really well and are totally unique... and totally me!

That sounds like an enjoyable project Lotta.

Not a particular style unless it is relaxed and involves wearing black casual trousers--no skirts, no dresses. I don't wear much jewelry; usually a pair of silver earrings and some rings I rarely take off. Never bought many necklaces because I had to wear an ugly lanyard for work, so no point. Almost always wear a scarf--my signature--usually long, made of wool, cotton or silk (nearly a 100 in my wardrobe...many are souvenirs from trips). Style: Casual, but not sloppy, especially when I go out of the house.

A question! How do you store 100 scarves in a way you can find the one you want? Nice signature a scarf.

A village restaurant within walking distance sounds so lovely to have. Does it have tables outside and a nice view?

A big deck on the loch edge, a stunning view and an Italian chef. We have struck lucky after it being closed for eight years.
