At the same venue as the concert - The Burgh Hall Dunoon - is a beautiful exhibition of photographs by David Peat. I also had a nice lunchthere.

It's a time to support our local Arts Centres I think. I had a great afternoon out.

Is there anything interesting on locally where you are?

Thank you for introducing me to David Peat's work. I would have loved to see this exhibition. I recently came across another street photographer : Robert Blomfield. He took some very evocative photos in Glasgow and Edinburgh, among other places.

I found this article about women street photographers. There was a big Vivian Maier exhibition here last year and there is also a fascinating film about this enigmatic woman and how her work was discovered after her death (Finding Vivian Maier).
